3km from the big round about and enter through the white gates on the right. 

Please drive slow on the gravel road to reduce the dust. 

 

Race format:

Electronic timing Mylaps - QORC Sprints

Saturday  1 May 21 = Juniors - Sprints 

Sunday  2 May 21  = Seniors - Sprints

 

Spectators welcome:

Gate fee = $2 donation

3pm Property gates open & tracks can be walked (no entry prior)

630-730am = Check-in/Scrutineering 

745am = Riders Brief (Compulsory)

8am = Sighting lap

8.30am = Racing (estimate 6 tests)

3.30pm = Presentations

4pm = Tracks open for inspections on foot only

630-715am = Check-in/Scrutineering

715am = Riders brief (Compulsory if required)

730am = Sighting lap

Special Notes:

All spectators MUST stay behind the track fencing or bunting. No spectator is permitted to enter the track during the event. 

No animals or pets allowed.

Pushbikes only permitted in the pit area, not the track.

 

COVID Safe Event:

This is a COVID safe event and all spectators, volunteers, parents, and visitors attending MUST sign in upon entry through our QR code. Visit your app store and download the 'Check in Qld App'  prior to arriving to pre register for the event so its quicker for you on the day. You will scan a QR on the day to quickly enter.

All racers/riders will be signed in through Ridernet at registration. All riders MUST have there licence (hard copy or electronic version) to enter the event. THE 2021 QUEENSLAND OFF-ROAD CHAMPIONSHIPS

After a last minute dash in 2020 to get the racing year off the ground thanks to COVID, we say some great riding by our local talent.  We understand that COVID is still ongoing and something that will be part of us for sometime to come. With this in mind and following all the safety process from our Qld approved Industry plan, we have again planned a huge racing year in 2021 with some new venues and formats in the pipe work.

This year will see some new rider classes for seniors and junior classes, and a Pre 95 support class and selected venues. We ask all riders to please ensure they read the event details on the links below as they become available, and please pay attention to your Sup Regs, as they have important information that will ensure you select the correct event, and follow all instructions.

 

Important note for all riders:

This year we will be closing the event entries early to allow the organisings time to plan for the COVID restrictions and rider entries. This mean NO late entries so get in early and register once they become available below. All riders must have either their hard copy license or the MA app electronic version so we scan your license for event registration.

Campsite Rd Tarome Qld 

Direction; Click on the map for google map directions.

Turn off the Cunningham Hwy onto Elizabeth St/Tarome Rd and head for Tarome 11.4km.

Turn left at the Tarome Rural Fire shed into Hinrichsen Rd (gravel rd) and travel for 2km,

Turn left into Campsite Rd (gravel rd) and travel courteously for 2.4km to the gate entrance on the right.

 

Race format:

Saturday  = Sprints

2 x senior tracks approx. 8km ea (swapped for Sunday) Running water creeks and river rock runs included

1 x junior track approx. 8km

Sunday  = Sprints

Alleyway camping and pit sites (1 road in, 1 road out parking pits either side.

Phone receiption is limited to 1 or 2 bars with Telstra & Optus

No showers or water onsite, so be prepared folks. Portaloo toilets will be onsite
