EVENT DETAILS

Everyone must complete the COVID online registration prior to attending the venue. This includes riders, family and support crew.

COST & PACKAGES

Non riders - additional site to rider package

Camping per site (non powered) - $10

Cabins - $110 (limited cabin and bed combo's, contact through Cherrabah directly)

 

Rider fees - $160p per rider

This will include 1 x site camping fee for your group, additional sites must be purchased through the venue if not purchased as additional product on Ridernet, meals for the rider only (B-fast, Lunch, Dinner, see menu below) and the ride entry fee. Additional meal packages can be purchased during Ridernet sign up for other family members (kids, parents etc.)

This can be upgraded to a cabin for additional $100 (limited cabins, contact for availability)

 

Food and drinks - can be purchased for non riders through Ridernet sign-up or on the day(Family, kids, support crew)  - see fixed menu 

Camp Fires - are permits in braziers and a fire extinguisher must be close by. Check local fire restriction prior to the event.

Facilities - toilets and showers will be available for campers. The resort has a pool for relaxing and unwinding

Saturday timings:

Transponder collection/rego - 7:30 - 8:30am

Ride Starts - 9.30am - 4pm 

All riders return transponders after completion of the ride.

 

Barrel racing - 4:45 - 6pm

QORC Presentations (licenced bar open) from 6pm

 

Sunday timings:

Transponder collection/rego - 8 - 9am

Rider sighting lap - 8:30 - 9:45am

Ride start - 10am - 2pm

All riders return transponders after completion of the ride.

 

EVENT FORMAT

Pony X team challenge

Select a team Captain - select the best team name and register it (Best name prize) then get ready for hours of fun looping around a prime track.

Starting grid - selected on the day (likely le mans fun start so practise your push -ups or jumping jacks folks hahaha!

Bribe your official for a better start or less push-ups!!

Multiple bikes or changing is allowed, all bikes must meet GCR's scrutineering requirements, spot checks may occur.

Bikes must be switched for refueling.

 

Saturday - 6hr Senior Pony X ride

Junior riders 14-15yrs old with 150cc and over big wheel bikes may ride in a team with the seniors. (Juniors must be highly skilled riders and in a team to enter. Teams may consist of minimum team of 2 riders and may be a combination of 2 junior riders or mixed with senior riders in the team)

Sunday - 4hr Junior Pony X ride

Pony X format - Riders must enter the track with a transponder fitted. Riders may swap bikes or transponder with team mates prior to returning to the track. Refueling must be completed at the pit area on evironmental mats to capture any spillage. 2kg fire extinguishers must be in the pits.

It is a fun ride in a Pony X format, we are not racing for sheep stations, points or trophies, so take it easy and have some fun. This is an opportunity for some fun relaxing riding with our QORC riders.

 

Tracks

Senior track - approx 20km (est 30-40mins loop) consisting of creek and water, tight turning forest and bush terrian, lots of logs and rocks and hilly goat trails up and down (some chicken runs) and some open trails to get on the pipe.

Junior track - approx 19km (est 1hr plus loop) consisting of the same track as the seniors except the juniors will be bypassed around the hard hill/ goat track climb section.

 

**Caution**

This is not suited for 65cc or small wheel bikes unless the rider can handle logs and rocks confidently by themselves.
